Yes, Let’s!
When my friends or my girlfriend come up with ideas for wild adventures, they know exactly who to call.
I’m the guy who says, “Yes, let’s!”
Sometimes that means a long bike ride that turns into a mountain hike.
Sometimes it’s a last-minute trip, a cold plunge, or a trail that’s definitely steeper than expected.
I saw a T-shirt the other day that said:
“That’s a terrible idea. What time?”
It made me laugh because that’s basically my personality distilled into one line.
Yes — I think about safety. I’m not reckless, and I don’t push past common sense.
But I also know that the best stories don’t come from staying inside the safe zone. They come from saying yes to things that stretch you, surprise you, and make you feel alive.
That’s the spirit behind my whole approach to fitness: I train so I can say yes when life calls.
Yes to adventure.
Yes to new challenges.
Yes to moments that turn into memories.
Life’s too short to wait for perfect conditions — and if you’re capable, prepared, and strong, almost any “terrible idea” can become an incredible one.
